Important! Remember your USER NAME is also your HTTP/Web Address. You can use your company name, personal name or you can also consider a user name that can also be a search query. Example: ‘Appraiser in Anaheim - Orange County’. You can also use a combination of the three suggested USER NAMES. Example: ‘John Doe - Appraiser in Anaheim - Orange County’ or ‘John Doe - Best Appraisals’ or ‘Best Appraisals - Anaheim - Orange County.‘ Remember that your blogs also create additional http’s on the internet so title them in ways you would like to be found by a search query.
NOTE: On your USER NAME you are limited to the amount of characters you can use and you are limited to upper/lower case characters, spaces, periods, hyphens and underscores.
After you decide on a USER NAME it’s best not to change it as it will develop a link on the internet.
This will appear in the county pages on our directory and also on your Profile Page. You are limited to 200 characters. Example for an appraiser: *Certified Residential* Area specialist based in Anaheim, Orange County providing expert valuations with integrity and professionalism since 1978!
NOTE: You can write all you need to in your COMPANY DESCRIPTION. It’s also easier to cut and paste from a document.
Write all you need to let potential clients know your specialties, experience and the areas you service. It’s good to type in the areas you service as we see links being created from key and unique words on your Profile Page. You will also be listing yourself in all the counties you service in another area on the template.
Easy to do. You can also load a logo of an association you belong to in your photo box. Your photo or additional logo will also appear when a client clicks on your Google bubble on our interactive map. Once you’ve created your Profile Page you can log in and go to the edit page and you can load your logo or photo once again and it will appear on the top right hand corner of your Profile Page.
To fill in your web site link on your profile page it is easier to cut and paste your link from your home page into the ‘WEB SITE URL’ box if you have another web site. Then type in just your site address without the http://www. in the ‘WEB SITE TITLE’ box. This for cosmetic appearance.
Read the instructions carefully to get close to where you need to be and remember to hold down the CTRL key and highlight the counties you cover. Please contact us for Nationwide coverage and we will accommodate your needs.
We can’t stress the importance of blogging. Each blog has another HTTP/Web Address and is very helpful in building more links. Example: Title a blog ‘Retrospective Appraisals in Anaheim, Orange County’ and the title and content develop more links to your Profile Page.
If your Company is Nationwide, we would appreciate it if you ‘contact us’. The reason being is there are over 3000 counties. Please let us help you with your selection.
There are several ways. Example for an Appraiser: Go to ‘Appraiser search’ located at the top , select a State, select a County and select an appraiser from the list. If you need an appraiser that is not listed in you county you have selected click on a banner ad to the right on the State page. You can also use the map. Click on a bubble with an ‘A’. This method of locating a professional can also work for the other Real Estate related professionals, Home Inspectors, Mortgage Lenders/Brokers and Real Estate Brokers/Agents, etc. Additional ways: there is a search bar located to your top right hand side, it can be used for zip codes, cities, a profession type, rentals etc. This is an additional way to search through content. On each State page you will see banner ads to the right hand side. Appraisal Companies that service the entire State are located on the banner ads. Click on a banner ad and you will be taken to their profile page. There are several ways to make contact. They should be able to assist you quickly.
It is simple. Look to the right of the page and select ‘Become a Member’. Next you can select the type of Real Estate Related Profession you would like to be listed in. When you select you user name please do so with great care, as it will build a link for you. Example: if you choose Betty11Z your link will look like (http://www.betty11Z/realestateguidesdot.com). We suggest using your name or company name. This has the greatest chance of building you a proper link. After you have selected your user name and password you will be asked for your e-mail. We do not display your e-mail to help keep spammers out. We do have a contact this member. The rest is all about your company or you as an individual and the real estate related, home improvement or home upkeep services you offer. You can use the ‘contact us’ if you need any assistance in creating your profile page. We are happy to help!

Become a member. Then you will need to log into your account. Once you are logged in you will see on the right hand side ‘create content’ select create content. Next you will see a list, you want to choose ‘real estate listing’. The next page will let you fill in all your listing information with photos. Be sure to click the submit button at the bottom. Please remember you are responsible for the content you post and list.

Once you have become a member and are listed as a Real Estate Broker/Agent or an Individual, there are NO additional fees for adding your real estate listings. You can have a countless amount of real estate listings added, for sale, share, rent or lease. You will not be asked for any additional fees other then the membership fees. You will not be asked for additional fees to have a phone number show or an address. With your Real Estate Broker/Agent or Individual Membership your single listing or multiple listings are included!
Keeping your information current is very important. In doing so you can save people the run around and have a much better chance to build business. Please check in from time to time if your office has moved, you have a new phone number or your web address has changed, etc. This is important!
